I’m Kayla O’Malley, an Associate UX Researcher with a strong design background.

In my current role at a B2B MarTech company, I analyze data from sources including interviews, usability tests, sales calls, desk research, and social listening. My work also has a significant focus on market and customer research. I present various findings to cross-functional teams, including leadership, to drive continuous improvements. Additionally, I have freelance experience in website and social media management, where I apply design thinking to enhance online engagement.

Before transitioning to UX, I worked in speech-language pathology, primarily in educational settings. Part of my experience included two years of remote service provision for an EdTech company. I hold a master's degree in speech-language pathology and recently completed my second master's in Information Technology with a specialization in Web Design.

My unique combination of skills allows me to adapt effectively across industries. My experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, has enhanced my empathy, strengthened my data-driven decision-making, and fueled my passion for accessibility.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our German Shepherd, Daisy.

I’m eager to bring my skillset to new challenges. Contact me or find me on LinkedIn!
